About Indy NXT
Indy NXT (formerly Indy Lights) is the official feeder series to the IndyCar Series, operating since 1986 under various names. Rebranded as Indy NXT in 2023, the championship uses Dallara IL-15 chassis with Mazda power at both oval tracks and road/street courses, typically co-headlining IndyCar weekends. The series champion earns a guaranteed scholarship toward an IndyCar ride.
