About D1 Grand Prix
D1 Grand Prix, founded in 2001 by drift legend Keiichi Tsuchiya and Daijiro Inada, is Japan's premier professional drifting series and the sport's originating competition. Eight rounds are held at circuits including Ebisu, Sendai Hi-Land, Meiji Jingu Gaien, and Odaiba. The series uses a tandem-battle tournament format and is the worldwide benchmark for drift judging standards and vehicle presentation.
