FIA

The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) is the world governing body for motor sport, founded in 1904 and headquartered in Paris. It sanctions and regulates Formula 1, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the World Rally Championship, Formula E, and dozens of other global championships. The FIA also sets the safety standards that govern circuit design, car construction, and driver equipment across all levels of sanctioned motorsport.
